Information

Why shouldn't I use an online unlocking service?

A. There is no certainty that the code received will work.

At The techKnow Space our technician will:

- read information directly from your phone using hardware and software unlocking tools

- process the best unlock solution available

- test the unlocked phone with a third party SIM

B. No waiting.

With an online service you may wait days before you receive the unlock or even a response.

- we will unock your phone in as little as 20 minutes.

C. Risk is minimized.

There is always a measure of risk when performing repairs or modifications yourself.

- there could be an error when you provide your phone's IMEI number to the unlock service

- there could be an error when the unlock service provides you the unlock code

- you could make an error entering the unlock code into your phone

- You could damage your phone, render it unusable or unlockable, or even exceed your unlock attempts trying codes that are provided from a web site and not specifically calculated for your phone.

- the unlock code provided by the service could be wrong or may not work

- you may have lengthy delays requesting follow-up support from the online service

- if it turns out that the service cannot provide a valid code for your phone there may be frustrating long delays awaiting refund or further help, our brick and mortar store is ever-accessible ;)

- you would need to have a SIM from another carrier at hand to test that the unlock has worked
